 ...an early AM today, heading west to Hallett Motor Racing Circuit for Group II/III low and high speed events 
      
...after about 45 minutes we arrived at the track
 The low-speed timing lights were being setupA great looking C2 parked in the pits - a spectator no doubt ;) 
      
The staging area was full; some Grp II cars were moved over to the Grp III/RP line to balance out the run groups
      
The Race Ports work out nice for shade to change tires and suchlots of nice rigs could be found at the track
The Driver's Meeting, held on the 2nd floor meeting room

The Vettes flowed in and out of the staging area as the day of competition progressed
      
spectators had several choices around the track for watching
Mickey took a few rides todayThe timing boards were posted on the window at the tower
Crash truck sporting the American Flag
Race Ports are available for rent at Hallett

...and it was nice to kick back and relax after a long busy day of competition

a good group for the cruise... to the right you see an old trestle bridge on Route 66
The lunch stop was at a Winery with several options heading back
      
 The old Rock Cafe which burned a while back - in the middle of being rebuilt
