After breakfast, the Convention Event Chairs were preparing the awards
The Convention Awards Committee led by Mike Hoehen sought out a new concept for Convention Awards this year.
      
 Everyone that entered a Convention NCCC event, received a nice Award Plaque for their wall (left) - for their participation. 
If you placed in an event, you rec'd a magnetic Medallion for that award; as demonstrated by Don Smith and the plaques to the right and below
  
      
  there were some traditional trophies given for FTD & OAFTDs  
      
Time for the Convention Awards
 Ron Ruston (Convention Chairman) opened the Awards program  
     
 Ron, being a proud Grandpa...  brought his two grandsons up to the podium at different times, while introducing the next Chair to present Awards
